After many years (& recent government complaints about the lateness of a submission), the draft Local Plan (now renamed as 'Runnymede 2030') is now to be discussed at next weeks RBC Planning Committee (on 20/12) & then goes to the Full Council on 9/1. Then there will be public consultation from 11/1 to 22/2 before the Plan is submitted to the government by end-March. There will also be a Community Planning Panel (CPP) session in "mid-Jan" to answer queries on the Plan, which Chris F will be attending on our behalf. In case you can't sleep at night, a copy of the draft Plan (c.200pgs!) is attached for your Yuletide reading! Unfortunately the RBC Planners have now turned down my invite to be our guest speaker on the Plan at our AGM on 20/2 - claiming that they will be too busy finalising the Plan for the government? Will now try the alternative of the Electoral Services team at RBC to talk on Runnymede boundary consultation. Cheers,
